mixed feelings about the stay
tiny shower lack of soundproofing
the location was indeed central close to the colosseum and other attractions
the room was small and the bathroom dated i found the shower tiny the soundproofing was nonexistent i could hear everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms this made relaxing difficult and disturbed my sleep

This hotel has a great location near the Colosseum. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated that there were several restaurants nearby (Guenda was amazing!).
The room was quite small, and I could hear noise from neighboring rooms. Loud music played from a nearby restaurant until late one night. This made it difficult to sleep (around 3 AM).

helpful staff central location convenient kettle available iron
the staff were always ready to assist with directions. the location near the circus maximus made exploring easy. i also appreciated the kettle in my room. an iron was available too.
soundproofing was minimal, so noises from neighboring rooms were easily heard.

the staff are very attentive, and they responded quickly to requests. they were always happy to help with questions about the city. i was pleased with their professionalism, but their friendliness stood out.

Charming Stay Near the Colosseum
friendly staff central location afternoon gelato
The staff displayed superb friendliness and competence. It was easy to walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum in about 15 minutes. A local cafe provided breakfast and afternoon gelato just down the street. I appreciate the daily room cleaning and effective air conditioning.
I noticed the shower was quite small. This made it a bit difficult to maneuver.

Breakfast is available in the room with a coffee machine. croissants with chocolate. Many NICE places near the hotel offer delicious local food. The area has many bars, cafes and restaurants within a short walk.

A charming courtyard offers an escape from the sun and traffic. A sitting room is provided for waiting after checkout. Luggage storage is also available all day. The building has a lot of charm and character.

Staff members spoke excellent English, helpful. The hotel provided an anniversary surprise in our room. The manager demonstrated a high level of cooperation.

MIXED feelings about stay
poor sound insulation loud music
The room I stayed in needed MUCH better sound insulation. I could hear everything from the next rooms. There was loud music playing on Saturday night from a nearby restaurant until around 3 am. It was impossible to sleep.

small shower poor insulation
The shower was quite small (I am six feet tall and found it difficult to maneuver). the sound insulation was poor, and noise from nearby rooms and a late-night event was noticeable (it impacted my rest). I also expected more attention to detail regarding cleanliness. I noticed some dust accumulation in the room.
